Landmark Larne hotel shuts down

The owners of the Highway's Hotel in Larne have announced that it has ceased trading and has closed until further notice.

Anyone who had booked a function there has been asked to get in touch with the hotel via its website.

The hotel, which is a former Manse, has 32 bedrooms, two functions room and two conference suites

It was owned by the Topping family for many years but they sold it to the current owners in the last few years.

It is understood that on its last day of trading the staff at the hotel were able to help customers by rebooking functions with other hotels in the town.
