Ten men held in Republic of Ireland over 50 burglaries
Ten men have been arrested after Irish police carried out a series of 22 raids on Tuesday.
The men, all Albanian, aged between 30 and 44, were arrested in raids stretching from Counties Kerry to Wexford.
It follows a four-month operation- codenamed Operation Crake - into 50 burglaries across the south and south-east of Ireland.
Interpol, gardai and members of the Criminal Assets Bureau were involved.
The operation began four months ago after burglaries at post offices and filling stations dating back to October 2008.
The ten men are being held at Waterford, Thurles, Thomastown, New Ross, Mallow and Cahir garda stations.
