Armed men rob Belfast bookmaker's

There has been an armed robbery at a bookmaker's shop in Belfast.

Two men wearing ski masks and motorcycle helmets went into the bookie's in Donegall Lane in Belfast at about 1620 BST on Saturday.

One of the robbers was armed with a handgun. No cash was taken but the pair stole the keys to a Renault Clio belonging to an employee.

One of them drove off in the vehicle, while the other man rode off on a motorcycle.

Both are believed to have travelled in the direction of Carrickhill.

One of the robbers was described as being about 6ft tall and was wearing a black bomber jacket, black jeans and black gloves.

The second was about 5ft 10ins and was wearing a grey tracksuit and white trainers.
