Two men are being questioned about immigration and serious fraud offences after being arrested in south Belfast.
The men who are both Nigerian nationals - one aged 45, the other 30 - were arrested in the Village area early on Tuesday morning.
Police said one is suspected of having overstayed the conditions of his entry visa and the other of being an illegal entrant to the UK.
Officials from the UK Border Agency and police officers took part in the raid.
