28 new jobs created in Enniskillen and Lurgan

Twenty-eight new jobs will be created in Northern Ireland with the opening of two new sports stores.

Sports Direct, the UK's largest sports retailer, opened a new store in Enniskillen on Tuesday and will open another in Lurgan later this month.

The company said that despite the current economic climate the decision to open the new premises was driven by a growth in demand locally.

The new outlets brings the number of Sports Direct's stores in NI to 13.

The company, which also owns brands such as Slazenger and Dunlop, employs more than 10,000 people across the UK.
