Police attacked with petrol bombs

Petrol bombs have been thrown at police officers investigating a security alert in Londonderry in the early hours of Saturday.
Police received reports of a device being left in the city's Spencer Road area at 0215 BST.
At about 0300 BST, five petrol bombs were thrown at the officers attending the alert.
A nearby guesthouse was evacuated. The alert has now ended and been declared a hoax.
