A west Belfast man alleged to have tried to kill his partner, has been refused bail at Belfast Magistrates Court.
James Loughran, 28, of Lenadoon Avenue, was charged with attempted murder and false imprisonment of Sheena Keenan on 12 August.
A police officer said it was feared he would contact the alleged victim who is the mother of his child.
Two men appeared in court on Friday accused of trying to kill Mr Loughran.
Malachy Keenan, 44, of Colinmill, Dunmurry, and John Carville, 39, from Brooke Close, both Belfast, appeared in the same court on Friday accused of trying to kill Mr Loughran following an incident outside his flat on Thursday.
Refusing the bail application, District Magistrate Bernadette Kelly said that by his record, Mr Loughran had "clearly demonstrated a complete inability to do what he is told".
He was remanded in remanded into custody until 10 September.
