Corner shop in Londonderry robbed

A corner shop in Londonderry has been robbed.

Two men entered the shop as staff were closing up at around 2300 BST on Tuesday.

One of the men followed a staff member behind the counter and seized a sum of money before running off.

The man who grabbed the money was described by police as being in his early 20s, about 5ft 8ins tall and of a thin build. He had brown hair and was wearing a red and white top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Police have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
