Nurse attacked at Holywell Hospital in Antrim
A male nurse who was stabbed in the chest at a psychiatric hospital in Antrim has been discharged from hospital.
The nurse was attacked by a male patient at Holywell Hospital just before midnight on Thursday.
A 22-year-old man was arrested and released on bail while further enquiries are carried out.
The Northern Health Trust said it had a "vigorously enforced" zero tolerance policy towards violence to staff.
Holywell Hospital provides a range of acute and other in-patient mental health services.
It has nearly 200 beds covering acute admission, dementia assessment, intensive care, continuing care and rehabilitation.
