Three sought over south Belfast hijacking assault

A man has suffered cuts and bruises to his face sustained during the hijacking of his car in south Belfast.

The 34-year-old was parking his Volkswagen Passat in Donegall Gardens at 2200 BST on Friday evening when a man dragged him on to the street.

The thief, accompanied by another man and a woman, jumped into the car and drove off.

The woman got out of the vehicle in traffic at Ebor Parade before the two men sped off towards Tates Avenue.

The two men are thought to be aged in their late 20s and early 30s. The woman is thought to be in her early 20s.

One of the men is described as 6ft with a slim build and face, medium length dark hair and wearing a dark coloured top.

The other is believed to about 5ft 9in tall with stocky build, blonde hair, a round face and glasses. He was wearing a yellow short-sleeved jumper and a hat.

The woman is described as about 5ft 7in tall, of medium build with short bleached blonde hair, wearing blue jeans and a dark blue waist-length zipped jacket.
