Man accused of north Belfast stab murder bid

A 20-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in north Belfast at the weekend.

A 23-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital after being stabbed in Charleville Street on Sunday.

The accused is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

Another man, aged 26, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries, a police spokesman said.
