Jury unable to reach verdict in sex abuse case

Jurors have been unable to reach a verdict in the two-week long trial of a man who denies sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.
The Public Prosecution Service will now decide if it will seek a retrial Londonderry Crown Court.
The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied two acts of gross indecency against the girl.
He also denied indecently assaulting her in his home between January and March 2008.
The PPS decision is expected within the next 10 days.
