8th arrest after ecstasy seizure

A 20-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the seizure of a substantial quantity of ecstasy in Portstewart.
The drugs worth an estimated £500,000 were seized on Friday. She was arrested on Thursday evening.
Six men appeared in court on Monday charged in connection with the haul.
A seventh man arrested has been released unconditionally.
The six men, aged 20 to 26, have been charged with a number of offences, including possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
