NI caravan companies go into administration

A number of companies that run caravan and residential parks in County Down have gone into administration.

Administrator John Hansen from KPMG in Belfast said he was working to save them as a going concern and they would continue trading as normal.

The parks are Windsor and Seahaven in Groomsport; Ballyhalbert Caravan Park and Park Homes and Cloughey Holiday Village.

The administrator has written to residents and caravan owners.

He will communicate with them again in the New Year with an update.

The companies were owned by a group of north Down businessmen.
