Man admits causing farmer's death

A 20-year-old man has admitted causing the death of an 80-year-old farmer in a road accident near Dungiven in September 2009.

Keelan Lee O'Neill, from Knockcullen in Dungiven, pleaded guilty at Londonderry Crown Court to causing Anthony McCloskey's death by careless driving.

He pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

The case was adjourned until later this month.
