Two men in hospital after Newry stabbing

The men were stabbed during an incident in Newry

Two men have been taken to hospital after they were stabbed in the stomach in Newry.

It is understood there was an altercation some time before 0500 GMT at a house in Drumgullion Avenue.

A third man received a slash wound to his arm.

The men's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Two men aged 34 and 43 have been arrested in connection with the incident.
