Six people have been taken to Antrim Area Hospital following a series of traffic accidents on the M2 on Monday morning.

None of their injuries are thought to be life-threatening.

Traffic came to a standstill after four separate collisions on the motorway, between Sandyknowes and Templepatrick.

The M2 was closed for a while. It has now re-opened.
