A car accident in Holywood, County Down in which a woman was seriously injured was not a hit-and-run incident, police have said.
Julie-Ann Alexander, 49, suffered a fractured skull in an accident in the town's golf club car park at 0110 GMT on Monday.
Initially, police said this was a hit-and-run collision. But, following interviews with witnesses, they said it was no longer being treated as such.
Police inquiries are continuing.
"Enquiries to establish the exact circumstances of how the injured woman came by her injuries and to establish if any offence has been committed are continuing," a PSNI spokesman said.
Ms Alexander spent Sunday evening at the golf club watching Rory McIlroy's challenge at the US Masters.
