A bomb alert at a Sinn Fein office in north Belfast has ended and been declared a hoax.

A suspicious object was discovered outside the building on Oceanic Avenue, off the Antrim Road on Tuesday morning.

The road, which was closed between Cavehill Road and Duncairn Gardens, has now reopened.

A second alert at Law Society House in Belfast city centre is also over. Victoria Street had been closed and a number of buildings evacuated.

However, nothing was found.
