Lurgan attack: Teen charged over triple stabbing

An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Lurgan in which three men were stabbed.

The men, all in their 20s, were assaulted in William Street and Charles Street on Friday evening.

The 18-year-old has also been charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.

Both are to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 23-year-old man, who was stabbed in the stomach and arm, was seriously injured in the attack.

The two other men were stabbed in the hand.

Police said four people were thought to have been involved.
