The name of the 42-year-old motorcyclist killed in a road accident in County Down has been released by police.
He was Dermot Morris from Crossgar.
His bike was in collision with a car on the Belfast Road in Saintfield on Friday evening.
The road has now reopened.
Alliance Party assembly member Kieran McCarthy extended his sympathies to Mr Morris's family and friends following the crash.
"My thoughts are with them at this difficult time," he said.
"One death on the road is one too many.
"I will be working at the assembly to ensure everything possible is done to improve road safety, but we need road users to always use caution when on the road."
