Crossbow fired at Belfast nightclub door staff

A crossbow has been fired at nightclub door staff in Belfast city centre in what police say they are treating as a case of attempted murder.

It is understood a car pulled up outside Rain nightclub in Tomb Street shortly after 23:00 GMT on Wednesday.

The crossbow was fired and a window was damaged.

No one was injured in the attack.
