Car arson attack at Briarhill, Antrim, 'a hate crime'

An incident in which a woman's car was set on fire in Antrim on Friday night is being treated as a hate crime, police have said.

Flammable liquid was poured over the roof of the car in the Briarhill area at about 23:15 GMT and set alight. It did not cause major damage.

It is understood the car belongs to a Polish woman aged in her 30s.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to get in contact with them.
