Man in 40s dies following crash in Ballymena

A man in his 40s has died after a road accident in Ballymena.

The one-vehicle accident happened on the Craigadoo Road shortly after 08:00 GMT on Monday. The man's name has not yet been released.

The road has now been reopened. Police want anyone who was in the area at the time to contact police in Ballymena on 0845 600 8000.

Earlier, one person was injured after seven vehicles were involved in a separate crash in Ballymena.

It happened on the Cushendall Road on Monday morning.

The road was closed in both directions at its junction with the Grove Road. It has now re-opened.
