Man accused of stealing £44,000 from employer

A Londonderry man is to stand trial accused of stealing more than £44,000 from his employer.

Dean Andrew Nutt, 23, from Hazelbank Drive in Drumahoe, is alleged to have stolen the money from a bureau de change in Lisnagelvin last July.

A defence solicitor told Londonderry Magistrates Court he accepted his client had a case to answer.

Mr Nutt was released on bail and is due to appear in court again later this month.
