Man injured in Albertbridge Road, east Belfast, hit-and-run

A man has been injured in a hit-and-run incident in east Belfast.

At about 22:20 BST on Saturday a man in his 50s was hit by a car on the Albertbridge Road.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact them at Strandtown PSNI station on 0845 600 8000.
