Man released in dissident republican investigation

A 45-year-old man who was arrested in Cookstown by detectives investigating dissident republican terrorism has been released unconditionally.

The man was one of five people who were arrested as part of the police operation on Saturday.

Officers seized a number of cars during searches in Toome in County Antrim and Cookstown, Carrickmore, Omagh and Pomeroy in County Tyrone.

Four men and a woman remain in police custody.
