Man is charged over cannabis plants seizure in Newry

A man has been charged with a number of drug offences after police seized a quantity of suspected cannabis plants in Newry.

The PSNI said the plants were recovered from a house in the Ballykeel area of the city.

The drugs are believed to have an estimated street value of £11,000.

The man is due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 13 June.
