Teen with knife threatens woman at Easton Crescent, Belfast

A woman in her 60s has been threatened with a knife at her home in north Belfast.

A teenage boy rang the bell of the 68-year-old woman's Easton Crescent home then forced his way inside at about 21:40 BST on Monday.

He threatened the woman with the knife, but she managed to escape.

The teenager did not take anything during the incident and it is not clear in which direction he ran off.

He was described as being about 15 - 17 years old, about 5ft 7ins tall, slim build, pale with dark hair in a fringe and dark eyes.

He was wearing a black hooded waterproof top with the hood pulled up, black trousers and black slip-on shoes.

The knife he had was wooden handled with a silver blade.
