Three women released but two held over Ballycastle abduction

A 20-year-old woman has been arrested in Coleraine following the reported abduction of a man in Ballycastle, County Antrim.

Three women aged 16, 18, and 42 years old arrested in connection with the incident, have been released on bail.

Police said a 21-year-old man remains in custody.

The 18-year-old man was reported to have been abducted in the town on Thursday and a demand for money made. He went to a Belfast PSNI station.

No money was handed over.

Police stopped a car on the outskirts of Antrim on Thursday night and arrested the 16-year-old girl, two women aged 18 and 42 and the 21-year-old man.
