Body found at Knockbracken was missing man Martin Griffiths

A body found in south Belfast has been identified as a man who had been missing for more than a week.

Martin Griffiths, 55, originally from Londonderry, was last seen on Monday 30 July in east Belfast. Police are not treating his death as suspicious.

His body was found on Tuesday at a derelict site near Knockbracken Healthcare Park on the Saintfield Road.

Police had issued an appeal for information after concerns were raised about his disappearance.
