Jewellery taken during burglary in Portavogie

A quantity of jewellery has been taken during an aggravated burglary in Portavogie, County Down.

At about 21:20 GMT a masked man, carrying a tyre iron, entered a house in the New Road area and ordered two men to lie down on the ground.

A quantity of prescription drugs was also taken during the burglary.

It is believed there may have been up to three other intruders in the house at the time of the incident.
