Arrest over murder of homeless man in Cork

A 26-year old man has been arrested over the death of a homeless man at an apartment complex in Cork last week.

Police are treating as murder the death of 58-year-old Liam Manley.

Mr Manley's body was discovered close to an internal refuse chute on the ground floor of the City Garden apartment complex at North Main Street on 13 May.

A post-mortem examination revealed he had suffered injuries consistent with an assault prior to his death.
