Three NI grammar schools offered literacy and numeracy help
Three grammar schools in Northern Ireland could be offered extra help in literacy and numeracy.
They are among hundreds of schools that have been earmarked for additional support.
Jobs will be available to 230 newly-qualified teachers to help with the initiative.
The grammar schools are Campbell College and St Mary's Christian Brothers in Belfast, and Strabane Academy in County Tyrone.
The schools include primary, secondary, Irish medium and integrated.
After they have declared whether they want to be part of the scheme, the two-year teaching posts will be advertised.
