Up to 150 public sector jobs created
Belfast is to get up to 150 new public sector jobs at the Northern Ireland Child Maintenance Service.
The Department of Social Development (DSD) said the service now looks after part of Britain as well as Northern Ireland.
The organisation provides advice to separated parents on child maintenance payments.
It already employs more than 1,000 people locally.
DSD minister Nelson McCausland welcomed the news.
"These jobs could have gone to other service providers in Great Britain, but Belfast has come out top by offering a quality service and value for money," he said.
Recruitment has already begun and funding for the posts has been committed for at least two years.
