Cash box is stolen in Glengormley

Thieves have stolen a sum of money from cash-in-transit staff outside a bank in Glengormley, County Antrim, on Thursday morning.

Two men, one carrying a gun, approached staff at the bank on Farmley Road just before 07:00 BST and took a cash box.

The pair made off in a silver Honda Civic car.

The cash box was found a short time later on Greenhill Road. The box had been emptied and a sum of cash was taken.
