Stolen JCB is driven through fence in Moy

Police have recovered a JCB worth £50,000, which was stolen from a building site in Moy, County Tyrone.

The vehicle, a JCB Teleporter, was driven through the fence of the site in The Square at about 21:10 BST on Sunday.

It was seen a short time later near Killycullion Industrial Estate.

Later, it was reported that the vehicle had been driven at a bus shelter on the Ballymacnab Road in Armagh at about 23:30 BST.

The digger was found on Ballymacauley Road in the city about 15 minutes later.

Police later stopped a car in Armagh and arrested a 19-year-old man. He is being questioned about aggravated vehicle taking and other motoring offences.
