Belsonic Belfast music festival set to start

The annual Belsonic music festival that brings an eclectic range of artists to Belfast city centre, is due to start later.

It will run from Friday 16 August to Monday 26 August.

The music festival will be held again at Belfast's Custom House Square.

Among the headline acts taking part will be Basement Jaxx on 16 August, Ben Howard the following night and Suede on Saturday 24 August.

The third and final night of Tennent's Vital is also taking place on Friday at the Boucher Road Playing Fields in south Belfast.

Tinie Tempah will headline the event along with Avicii, Rudimental Live and Tommy Trash.
