A County Down firm has signed a £1m contract to supply parts for fighter jets used by the RAF.

Denroy Plastics, in Bangor, will create further parts for the Typhoon Eurofighter.

The company now makes 180 separate parts for the jet.

Company chairman John Rainey said it was a massive honour for the company and they were "delighted" to have received the new order.

Denroy employs 160 people and makes moulded products, including hairbrushes and medical devices.
