Six people are still being questioned by detectives investigating the awarding of PSNI vehicle contracts.

A serving police officer and three other men were arrested in Northern Ireland. Two other men were arrested in England and brought back to NI for questioning.

They are being questioned about a range of offences including bribery and misconduct in public office.

They are also being questioned about procuring misconduct in public office.

Police also carried out a number of searches at homes and business premises on Tuesday and several items were seized.

It is understood these include computers which detectives will now examine for any evidence of criminal behaviour.
