Cookstown, County Tyrone: Shots fired in murder bid at house

Police are treating a shooting at a house in Cookstown, County Tyrone, as attempted murder.

Two shots were fired through the living room window of the house in the Tullyveagh Road area shortly before 03:00 BST on Tuesday.

It is believed a shotgun was used in the attack.

Police said a 45-year-old man was in the house at the time, but was not injured.
