Five injured after collision ends police car chase

Three PSNI officers were injured when their vehicle was struck by a car they were pursuing in east Belfast this morning.

Two other people were also hurt.

None of the injuries is believed to be serious.

Two men, aged 22 and 26, were arrested in the London Street area, where the collision happened.

The men had been in a Renault Megane car which failed to stop for police.

A number of vehicles were damaged in London Road, Upper Frank Street and My Lady's Road during the chase.
