Two men killed in crashes in Antrim and Dunloy

Two men have been killed in separate crashes in County Antrim.

On Friday afternoon, police confirmed that a man died after two vehicles collided on the A6 Randalstown Road in Antrim.

Police have not yet released any details about the man. The road has since re-opened.

Earlier, Desmond Wilson, a 59-year-old from Ballymoney, died following a crash on the Garryduff Road in Dunloy on Friday morning.

Mr Wilson's Peugeot 2008 car was involved in a collision with a white Citroen Berlingo just before 07:35 GMT.

Mr Wilson died at the scene.

The other driver was taken to hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

The Garryduff Road has now re-opened following an earlier closure.
