Man charged with arson after Antrim house fire

A man has been charged with arson endangering life with intent after a fire at a house in Antrim on Saturday morning.

The 33-year-old has also been charged with criminal damage following the blaze in Rathmore Gardens.

He is due to appear at Antrim Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Police said the fire started in the first floor of the property just before 02:00 BST. No one was at home at the time.
