A pensioner has appeared at Londonderry Magistrates' Court charged with committing 25 sex offences against two young girls over a 13 year period.
The 66-year-old defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have committed indecent assaults on the girls between 1970 and 1983.
A defence solicitor accepted that his client had a prima facie case to answer.
The defendant was released on his own bail of £500.
He is due to appear in Londonderry Crown Court on 1 November.
