Driver Vehicle Agency: Staff stage Coleraine protest
More than 100 Driver Vehicle Agency workers have taken part in a protest in Coleraine, County Londonderry.
It follows the UK government's decision to move vehicle licensing services to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in Swansea.
More than 300 jobs will now be lost at the DVA Coleraine offices.
The rally was addressed by trade union representatives who said Stormont ministers must ensure that jobs come to Coleraine.
The general secretary of the ICTU, David Begg, said Secretary of State Theresa Villiers "should resign for not protecting jobs in Coleraine".
On Thursday, a Stormont committee was told by the chief executive of the DVA that "it may be difficult to re-deploy staff in junior grades".
