Convoy Orange hall: Man in court over criminal damage charges
Police in County Donegal have charged a man with criminal damage to an Orange Hall and a Presbyterian Church.
Damian Murray, 32, of Ardmiran Park, Stranorlar, was arrested on Monday evening at his home in Ballybofey.
The fire destroyed an Orange hall and damaged a Presbyterian church in the village of Convoy last week.
Mr Murray was refused bail in the case and has been remanded in custody until Friday.
Members of Convoy Orange Lodge attended the hearing at Letterkenny District court.
The damage from the attack is estimated to cost up to 250,000 euros (£196,000).
