MPs' expenses: New evidence file handed to prosecutors

Police investigating MPs' and peers' expenses have handed an additional file of evidence to prosecutors.
The new dossier will be considered by Crown Prosecution Service lawyers with a view to bringing further possible charges, Scotland Yard said.
Files relating to 10 Parliamentarians have now been handed over by detectives.
Six files have resulted in charges so far. The CPS decided no further action would be taken in two cases.
A small number of cases remain subject to consideration by the joint Metropolitan Police and CPS assessment panel or are subject to continuing investigation, Scotland Yard said.
