Europe: A good question

Ed Miliband failed to capitalise on David Cameron's euro agony but he did ask a good and fair question which the prime minister will have one day to answer - what powers will he get back from Europe and when?

The PM says he wants fundamental change in Britain's relationship with Europe. His deputy says that won't happen when he's in the government. With Germany already asking for treaty change that is an unsustainable position.

That is no doubt why Mr Cameron resorted to name calling, labelling his opponent " a complete mug".
