Police have advised motorists to drive with care after 10 crashes on a stretch of road with black ice.
The accidents happened on the A90 in Tayside, mainly between Inchture and Inchmichael, between 0650 GMT and 0845 GMT.
Officers said that no-one needed to go to hospital, but a number of people were treated at the roadside.
One of the incidents involved three vehicles and there were two collisions involving two vehicles.
The other crashes involved single vehicles.
A spokesman for Tayside Police said: "We would advise motorists to slow down and be careful, and be mindful of the road conditions."
